Release changes
The v0.4.0 release branch updates the Collector and its bundled components:

The release branch currently identifies the distribution as a beta build. Confirm the version supplied in your installation package before deployment.
Upgrade compatibility
The JMX receiver is no longer included. A configuration containing a jmx receiver, including a named instance such as jmx/application, will not load in v0.4.0. Remove the receiver and its pipeline references, or arrange an alternative JMX collection method, before upgrading.
All other component changes in this release are dependency version updates. Validate your complete configuration against the new binary before replacing an existing installation.
